TORONTO, Ontario — Global award-winning entertainer Sean Jones is bringing the soul back.
Following a packed performance at Toronto’s Casa Loma that had audiences on their feet from beginning to end, the Juno Award-winning artist will return to Casa Loma’s “Soul in the City” on Sept. 2, 2026, accompanied by his nine-piece band and special guests.
The performance continues a season of live music for Jones before he steps into the timeless catalogue of Marvin Gaye with “The Marvin Experience,” Sept. 25, 2026, at The Westdale Theatre in Hamilton, Ontario.
THE MARVIN EXPERIENCE
Produced by Jones, “The Marvin Experience” is an immersive live concert celebrating the music, emotion and cultural legacy of one of the most iconic voices in music history.
Backed by an electrifying eight-piece band, Jones will reimagine Marvin Gaye’s legendary catalogue through fresh, modern arrangements while honoring the spirit, emotion and unmistakable groove that made the music enduring.
Projected visuals will complement the live performance, creating a rich sensory experience around classics including “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” “Let’s Get It On,” “Sexual Healing,” “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You),” “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” and more.
From romantic ballads and socially conscious soul anthems to the unmistakable Motown sound, Jones will take audiences through the many dimensions of Gaye’s musical legacy.
Designed for longtime Marvin Gaye fans and a new generation discovering the catalogue, “The Marvin Experience” is an evening of music, memory and celebration led by one of Canada’s most dynamic R&B performers.

Jones has built a career around commanding live performances, popular residencies and sold-out shows across Canada, the United States and international stages.
Throughout his career, he has opened for Ellen DeGeneres’ arena tour and shared stages with artists and entertainers including Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, David Foster, Usher, Beyoncé, Macy Gray, Eric Benét, Alan Frew, Divine Brown and Jully Black.
Jones also became the first musical ambassador for WestJet, creating the popular WestJet Boarding Sessions.
His recording career continues alongside his live work. His single “Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone,” featured in the U.S. film Sons 2 the Grave, received a Hollywood Music Award nomination.
Jones has also brought his signature live sound to a successful soul series at Toronto’s Harbourfront Concert Stage, a summer residency at the iconic Palais Royale and performances at the legendary El Mocambo. He recently returned to the El Mocambo for a sold-out ’80s concert, with another performance scheduled for October 2026.
Beyond performing, Jones has expanded his work as a producer. He brought Holiday Soul to Hamilton in support of local food banks and later performed and co-hosted Christmas with the Clemons 2025 at the TELUS Centre in Toronto.
Now, Jones enters his next chapter with both new music and a continued commitment to the live R&B experience.
